In the Swiss market a standardized interface between payment terminals and cash registers or automat was defined for cashless payment transfers. The implementation of the current VEZ interface (version 5.1) is relatively complex and requires a high initial investment. OPENVEZ is a software module that expands this VEZ interface in your cash register or automat software with the cashless payment possibilities, some EFT functions. The complexity of the VEZ specification and the communications are completely encapsulated in the OPENVEZ module. An easy to program interface remains for the implementation. OPENVEZ runs with CASH payment terminal from Multipay, and also with card-X from 3C-Systems, CZAM from EPSYS and EFTOMAT from ASCOM.
